Woops! Thanks to Trevor in support for helping me, you need to copy the shortcode from your custom layout:
I know I should have spotted it, but it might get added to the tutorial setup to save silly questions like mine ha!

Yep, I had followed that guide to begin with.

Do I need to tell the custom layout to attach itself to a container like in the ‘As an archive’ way?

I set up my ssl with a flexible cloudflare cert, and in doing research to try and fix this problem it seems like that might not be enough?

I have https now, and still get the 500 error. Do I need to have a redirect URL set somewhere? I followed the guide but didn’t see anything about it.
