Thank you so much for getting back with me. I totally fixed it, but in a different way than you suggested.
The solution was actually adding a code to keep Explorer from reading (or misreading) the theme’s original template that was replaced by the slideshow.
I added: “.flexslider { display: none !important; }” and the issue was gone! My website is ChangeRelationships.com
