In reply to: [Admin Customization] [Plugin: Admin Customization] dont work drop down menuHi.
I’m sorry but I’m not sure what you mean. The dashboard widgets list is updated only after you visit the Dashboard first. Does that help?
Maybe you could use Google Translate to translate your message. http://translate.google.com/
The warning should be gone in version 1.2.1.
@noyz319, thank you for the heads up. I’ve included the change in the latest version.
@wendymerritt That should be fixed in v1.2.1

🙂
I’m thinking of automatically making it wide if the number of fields is larger than 1.
That’ll work.
If not, I need to know the original source, for licensing info.
Not mine. They’re Alexey Egorov‘s who’s in dire need of a proper site.
Lemme know if want help with the coding.

Mr Database, learn to let go! It’s healthier :).Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Posts 2 Posts] [Plugin: Posts 2 Posts] UI api suggestionsFirst, lemme say, this is fun!
I like the + icon. It allows the title link to always send you to that post’s editing screen, regardless if the connection was created yet or not.
Actually I imagined it as a visual reminder that when clicked, that item is added.
This could be a better solution. The Fields icon could launch a speech bubble modal with the list of fields, as for many fields the interface becomes unusable in the narrow column.
With those in place and the “Type to search for books” text, is the info button even necessary?
Probably not. Can be dropped.
Also keep in mind that it can get pretty wide…
Maybe something like this for the wide version?
The only weird thing is the space after the search input.Forum: Everything else WordPress
In reply to: WordPress forums questionChange the address on the old (you don’t want it anymore) account to something else.
That’s exactly what I did. Only without trying to trick it with an uppercase. That worked. Thank you!

In reply to: [Posts 2 Posts] [Plugin: Posts 2 Posts] UI api suggestionsThe “Show all” button has been on my mind for some time. Care to make a mock-up with it?
Maybe something like this (when the show button is pressed)?
And like this , when searching for something. The buttons at the bottom could be replaced by tabs. The info button could show the description in a speech bubble.

In reply to: [More Types] [Plugin: More Types] Broken in WP 3.1I can’t any “Show in menu”.
I can’t get to allow an Editor to access the themes.php page … even though I set the min role to editor
I’m getting the same issue. Can’t seem to get some menus to hide. It’s like the min role setting is ignored.
The only way I can get this to work is to set min role for each of its submenus. Maybe this should be added automatically for submenus when the menu has this set.

In reply to: WordPress forums questionYou can’t register 2 accounts with the same email address
Maybe they should write that in bold red letters.
why not just change your display name in your old account?
There are still instances where the user is shown, not the name.
Who should I talk with to delete the old account? I need that address on this account as I plan to use the “This user should be notified of follow-up posts via email” feature.

In reply to: [More Types] [Plugin: More Types] programmers are sleeping — dont' useYou could give’em a hand. Seems they did work hard on these plugins and gave them to us for free.
qtrans_useCurrentLanguageIfNotFoundUseDefaultLanguageworks great.Thank you again!
That seems to be the only place that produces the issue with qtranslate since the title is stripped of the language tags.
I haven’t tested your plugin exhaustively, and if I encounter other issues I’ll let you know. For now, that sole change will do a world of good.
Thank you!
