In reply to: [Better Sharing] Confirmation messageHi @katejth33, thank you for the kind words and the great suggestion.
We have an issue in our backlog to improve the UI for the area that you described. Our plan is to replace the entire page element with a nice success message, then give the user a button to return to the form (or close the modal.)
Since you’ve asked for it, we bumped it up a little in priority for you.
We’ll drop a line in this thread when it ships, thanks again for the feedback.
The mind of a spammer must be a fascinating and confusing place.
How would you implement it in the form? Would you add a small message above the field mentioning that you can send to up to 5 email addresses?
Don’t you know? People who use the internet don’t read stuff like that. 🙂 I think I’d probably start with placeholder text inside the field itself to show an example like: “[email protected], [email protected]” then if stop them when they hit the limit with a nice error message.
Interesting. Thanks for taking the time to reply to my question.
So even though the spammers didn’t have control over the message content they still abused it? What’s the point in spamming someone else’s content around?
Did you ever try an experiment with a hard limit like 5 email addresses?
