Updated all plugins and site crashed, YITH WooCommerce Catalog Mode shown as cause.I restored backup and site was fine then update YITH WooCommerce Catalog Mode only and site crashed again so restored backup again to get site you again. Need new update file to update and keep working.

Think I’ve sussed it. I had the order set to ascending thinking it would show the number if posts I had selected in ascending order but when I changed it to descending order I got the latest 5 posts ( 5 haqving been selected as number to show.
Thanks for your help. If there are alternatives to get lates 5 posts in ascending order I’d be interested to know.

OK I get that.
Is it possible to add a line from the shortcode result in the table to the post page so the video will play there. I do see that adding the more tag does this but it would be od to have an auto link from all listins back to their post.
Also the view link in the admin list is still directing to root rather than the wordpress directory.
Sorry to be a pain, your plugin is great and works well on the site, just this couple of things.

The link given was the link to the page with the shortcode on to display the output.
The event link is http://pastsearch-archaeo-history.co.uk/2018/this-day-in-history/500-12-15/
The shortcode used is [tdih month=12] but no events are shown.
When events admin page is opened and view is selected the event url is shown as http://pastsearch-archaeo-history.co.uk/this-day-in-history/500-12-15/ (ie no dir 2018) and if view is clicked 404 page on old website not in directory is shown.
Wordpress is installed in the directory http://pastsearch-archaeo-history.co.uk/2018/
The correct slug including the directory /2018/ is stored in the database.
What I need to do is to get the shortcode to find the event in the databse and for the view option in admin list to display the correct url.
Any thoughts?

The individual project post are a custom post type projects.
They are in the categorys extensions and conversions. When viewed in admin category list it shows 2 projects in extensions and 1 in conversions.
If I try [catlist=extensions] I get nothing.
If I try [catlist=extensions post_type=projects] I get all projects because of the post type.
Also tried with category id, nothing.
I put a post in normal wp posts and put it in a category and when I use that category in the shortcode it brings up the single post.
Its as though it cant find the custom posts by reference to category, only by using post_type. Could there be a problem in the custom post type settings set up using Custom Post Type UI plugin?Forum: Plugins
