Add: The links were TP – links btw. Referring to language switche if I remember right.
I had a similar problem. For me this trick worked:
- deactivate Translate Press Plugin
- Go to all your menues and check, if there is a note, which tells you, that there are missing links
- I found those links, deleted them.
- Check out all your menues! This is important.
- After that I activated TP, which is a fantastic plugin and the language switcher showed up. Have not yet tested the tranlation, but am sure it will work like always.
