In reply to: Uploading images results in an error.It seems that my host (1 and 1) limited the size of my media file (it’s called inode limit)… very sneaky.
So I downloaded a WP plug in called “Imsanity” by Jason.
It took my whole media file and resized the pics all at once. There are ways to bypass this feature if you don’t want to do it for a single pic where you want to keep the detail.
So, I have been happily uploading pics. This is only a temporary fix, and I figure I will have to move to a different host that doesn’t limit media. This is better though for now, and the loading of pics on my web page is faster. Hope this helps…Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Uploading images results in an error.just found out from my server that it was I had reached the limit of space on my package. So, if I upgrade, it would be fine.
Does anyone know of a host that doesn’t have a limit on space? I am with 1 and 1 …. was with Blue Host before and never had this problem. ThanksForum: Fixing WordPress

Will this help with this uploading problem that began with 3.5 version and finally imploded with 3.7?

So, when I use a new wp theme – do I still update WP when it says to?
I realize that if I do my new theme, I will have the ability to get around in it without having a programmer…. change colors, etc.
I would be concerned that updating WP would cause a glitch in something that is already up and running ok.

to keep my present site up and running… can I go back to a version before 3.5? How?To try a new theme…. do I just apply it to the present theme or do I have to cut and paste all the dialogue? The themes have pic at the top (header)… can I insert my own style and pics?
I am game for this…. keeping my site up and running is of first import!!

I would say that the uploading of photos glitch began messing up for me two updates ago…
rather than go backwards, I would like to free myself of this custom versioning that isn’t PURE WP so I can change page colors, etc on my own. (maybe even get brave and change themes) In the beginning of this web site, I just wanted to be able to update info and change photos… so this worked. Now I want to update the ‘LOOK’ of my web page. I don’t know much about coding, etc… so unless I can easily do something in WP… it doesn’t happenForum: Fixing WordPress

My site… http://www.claudiabianca.com is a custom designed theme (built off 1.6)
Uploading pics worked until these updates.

In reply to: Media Library can't find/sort imagesI also upgraded to version 3.7 and now the photos won’t upload to media library. It says it is there, and if I click on edit and I can see it, but it doesn’t post or show when I insert. Deactivated all plug ins and it still didn’t work. Help?
It freezes and never comes out of crunching. Have tried both the multi and browser uploaders.
