Here are the exactly steps I’ve done:

– Installed WP
– Set up multisite network
– Added one new site (separated in subfolders)
– Added your other plugin instagram-feed and network activated it (and it worked like a charm after the setup)
– Added Custom Facebook Feed plugin and network activated it

After setting it up and adding the shortcode on the “Simple Page”, the plugin did its job in the first blog (f.ex: foo.com)

I’ve then configured it for the second site. Until now everything worked well. I’ve then added the shortcode on the “Simple Page” and refreshed the browser (f. ex.: foo.com/de/). The plugin didn’t load the content from Facebook as it should.

I’ve network deactivated the plugin, activated it separately for each site as @peekwebdesign explained and the problem was solved. I’ve even deactivated the plugin from each site and networt activated it again and the plugin still works.
