As I mentioned earlier, all my sites are configured with (‘FS_METHOD’, ‘direct’); in “wp-config.php” to avoid using FTP. This doesn’t solve the problem.

In response to the previous message, I can’t do anything because, right after the update, clicking on an administrator function immediately results in an error.
On my site, I use “snippets.” So, I created a snippet with the following code: “add_filter( ‘wpo_wcpdf_filesystem_method’, function( $method ) { return ‘php’; } );”
I activated the code. Then I downloaded version 4.2.0-pr1078.4. I replaced version 3.9.6 with this one, and the result is that I still have the crash. It didn’t change anything.

To refine my search, I searched for versions 3.9.5 and 3.9.6 on the web.

Another clarification: I have in my wp-config.php the line of code: define(‘FS_METHOD’, ‘direct’); from the beginning to avoid updating by FTP. This does not solve the problem.
I downloaded woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packing-slips.4.2.0-pr1078.1.zip and installed it but I still have the same problem.

I don’t have any “status” in woocommerce. It’s a page in French.
In the meantime, WooCommerce has had an update, version 9.6.2 and WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips version 4.0.1. WordPress has moved to version 6.7.2.
I tested the update of the WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips plugin version 4.0.1, same problem, then version 4.1.1, still the crash of the administration page. The site works correctly.
The question is why when I reinstall version 3.9.4 of WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips, the admin access works.
