Excellent advise. I took it. Downloaded a free theme and paid for several plug-ins which I could try at no risk. I liked the plug-ins and did not ask for a refund.
Have confidence in your product. Offer a trial period. I’ll bet you sell more.
If you aren’t going to support a free theme, you shouldn’t offer one. It’s fine for you to offer paid themes, but asking people to pay for something they have not seen or used is a bit much. Many developers offer refunds for a short period if the user is not satisfied. If your themes are so good, you shouldn’t have problems with people asking for refunds. They should buy more if they like what they get.
just figured it out from another post – your plug-in does not play well with WP default permalinks. Changed them and all is well.
