Just dropping in here for a suggestion, but don’t mistake me for an expert here, and please correct me if I’m wrong.
Maybe you can use caching exclusion rules on specific pages instead of completely disabling your caching plugin.
This could enable proper functioning of Restropress without harming your site’s global performances so much.Hope it helps! 🙂

Thanks for your reply and sorry about the delay with my answer. I was busy on other matters.
The checkout page is of course translated, I don’t think this is the problem.
I disabled bootstrap and it fixed another issue: food items no longer disappear from the cart when you navigate to different pages of the site.
I guess there was interferences with my performance set up…As for the checkout problem, I just fixed it I think.
The issue was with the format of translated content. So it was indeed a polylang + restropress compatibility problem.Here’s the fix :
I switch the Polylang URL settings from
“The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks”
to
“The language is set from content”.I cleared the caches and voilà ! 🙂

The issue isn’t resolved I’m afraid.
It’s not a very big problem though, so no pressure on this.Here’s a video showing the problem:

3. Click “Checkout”
-> The language automatically switches back to French.
I would like it to remain in English for the entire ordering process if possible.I understand this might not be a RestroPress issue (could be Polylang settings I guess, will keep trying to change them), and you might not be able to help.
But I would very much appreciate if you could take a few more moments to look into it to make sure it’s not coming from your plugin.Thanks a lot for your time.

In reply to: [RestroPress - Online Food Ordering System] Order Receipt Edit option gone?Alright, looks like some options have gone, but the same end result is still achieved using only the Checkout Options from General Tab.
Since on the subject of login, being able to have a “sticky” sign-in form above or under the sticky Your Order sidebar would be great, maybe a form for which you can toggle visibility by clicking an icon, just like then You Order system on mobile devices (to avoid to vertical much space for everything to be displayed).

“Button text” and “Checkout” settings seem to have disappeared from the “Misc” section too… (When compared to your documentation).
Therefore, some options seem to be missing, like the possibility to have a signup/sign-in form displayed at checkout, which causes obvious issues…

And after setting a new order email notification for clients, it seems clients no longer receive the purchase receipt…
Furthermore, when using the {receipt_link} tag in the new order email notification for clients, the receipt doesn’t display properly when clicking the link in the email : https://www.screencast.com/t/Kk06EdL0
Also the display is cranky when using text emails, and no receipt URL can be displayed instead of the link available for the html models.
Just a suggestion now : being able to send test mails instead of going through the ordering process would be awesome.
Sorry for all the feedback, testing your plugin in order to set up something that could gain you paid users. Just trying to make sure they get the best experience here.

Not a big issue again, but if you can check this out before the next update I’m sure some French users will appreciate! 🙂Will keep posting what I come across here.

Spotted another error, or bug maybe, not sure.
Some strings (on the backend) seem to not translate.
