In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Calendar events only displaying when logged in as AdminI reactivated the plugin and the link in the original reply is valid again. I found a conflict with the Role Scoper plugin, so I deactivated it. I’m not really sure that I even use that plugin and it appears that it is untested with the version of WordPress that I am using.

I would still like to know why I can’t see the events when I am not logged into my site as an admin. I really like this calendar, but I can’t use it if all users cannot see the events.

I still want to be able to approve users because I get a lot of spam requests for new users. I still however want them to be able to sign up using their initial password upon registering.

The issue I am having is that when a user first registers, they cannot sign in with the password they set up. After I approve them, they receive an email with a link to set their password. I just want them to be able to use the password they initially created.

After I approve a user, they get an email with a system generated password and they cannot use the one they initially set up. They also receive an email with a link to set their password. How do they just use the one they first setup their account with?
