Misunderstanding, Minecraft is case sensitive, meaning to the Minecraft skin database, YourUsername is not equal to yourusername.
You can file a ticket with Mojang if you’d like.
This has been fixed with 1.6, side note does anyone know how to get email alerts of new issues?
