    Good Morning!

I’d like to repeat my question above since this still is unsolved.

    Thanks U all

    Hi there,
thanks (had to take care of sunday family matters inbetween) but even after clearing the cache it does not work properly.

Obviously the index.php is overriding the index.html which I have in the root to offer an “adult-verification” entry page.
The WP site works (even in the root, while it actually is in /site) but the html-index-page is gone.

Any ideas how I can get that to work?

    Thanks

    SAD:

Now rechecked the site … and found that now the structures work, but in return I have lost the actual “index / entry / start page” which I had in the root directory (now only using: odyne.cc/index.php instead of odyne.cc/index.html

    ???

    DID IT!

Thank you SOOOOO much! (I dared to mess around with the files just as suggested by you and followed the link and got it done! :-)))))))

    Another Question possibly?
Now the “events”-page is not using the entire space that would be available but provides for a left column which I dont use.
….well maybe I should go and have a look first for myself prior to asking silly questions… *sigh*

Thanks, – but this is WAY beyond me!

I would have thought, that if installing WP into a subdirectory, all it’s actions would stay there anyway?

If this can’t be done in a way even for me to comprehend, would it make more sense to delete the entire installation and rather create a subdomain like:
    http://wordpress.odyne.cc
and install the entire package into there?

    Thanks for your help!
