Kleiner Nachtrag: Ich hatte versucht über ein Plugin zu gehen mit dem man Bilder Duplizieren kann. Wollte dann die Sprache nachträglich ändern. Dabei trat der Fehler also auch auf. Ich glaub es liegt doch an Polylang.

Es liegt wohl am Uncode Theme. Habe wie geraten das twentyseventeen aktiviert und Medien importiert. Dort trat der Fehler nicht auf. Allerdings bin ich auf das Theme angewiesen. 🙁

Thanks for the tip! I’ll try that.
In the meantime I disabled the option “Media” in the polylang settings. (Activate languages and translations for media)
Now i can add images without adding language-numbers. Unfortunately, I can not use the language setting for Media-Elements.
Hi, did you found a solution to the problem? I have the same problem.
