Same issue here! Trying to authenticate with Google Drive and an error page saying “Invalid SSL” comes up.

I have the same issue. I try to authenticate.
I get a “not verified” message.
Go to advanced and continue anyways.
Then select my gmail account and select allow.
Then when I’m back at the WP SMTP it gives me a green success message, but doesn’t authenticate or save my gmail account to send emails with.
