Upon further testing, we found that this issue was caused by using the wrong Stripe plugin, Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce, with WP Funnels and WooCommerce. This led to users being prompted to re-enter their credit card details on the Upsell screen.
WP Funnels only supports WooCommerce Stripe Gateway for Stripe payments. After switching to this plugin, the second credit card form no longer appears. Instead, users see a processing spinner, resulting in a smoother experience.
I’m glad to have found this thread, as we’re experiencing the same issue. We understand the logic behind it, but in testing, when a user accepts an upsell, they’re prompted to re-enter their credit card details via the Stripe form. We’re concerned this will create friction, causing users to exit the popup and decline the upsell.
Other platforms like ThriveCart handle this differently, allowing upsells and downsells to be processed without requiring the user to re-enter payment details. Is there a way to charge the card used at checkout without a second entry, or does this only work if the “save card” option is enabled?
We understand that order bumps work differently, requiring just one credit card form, but they also offer less space for pitching the sale. Upsell pages provide a better opportunity, but re-entering payment details is a significant drawback.
The firewall page no longer appears on login, but the Two-factor authentication screen isn’t working correctly; it repeatedly redirects me to the login page (with the GET param & value of

I suspect the plugin didn’t deactivate properly, as my access key remained after reactivation.Currently, Two-factor authentication is enabled for administrators, but it’s not functioning as intended. When attempting to disable it, the setting reverts to “on” after saving changes.
After reinstalling the CleanTalk Security plugin, the issue persists – my access key remains, and Two-factor authentication (2FA) can’t be disabled. Some progress…

I followed your steps and it did not help

I then refreshed my page; cleared all of my various caches (server & browser). I even tried an incongnito window; but the moment I tried to login again after “Syncronize with Cloud” I still get blocked by the Firewall:

I am able to work around it; it is good to hear that you are aware and are working on it.
@sergecleantalk noted and I’ll flag them as such. Thank you.
@amagsumov – your malware scanner on v2.67.2 did flag 3 lines in the following file as Critical. Should I roll back to v2.67.1 for the time being? One of the lines was due to the use of eval(…):

@safronik and @amagsumov – we followed those instructions and are now on v2.67.2 and the persistent error dialog on the Plugin Settings page is gone. Thus, the fix seems to be working!
Thank you for the quick replies and help. Keep up the good work!
@amagsumov – thank you for the reply. At this time, it does not appear to be urgent for the website seems to still be operating normally minus seeing those errors on that settings screen. If you have additional questions please email me at support [at] coachinghive [dot] com
