Actually, what I want to do is to allow the user to enter certain theme settings, I thought it would be appropriate with templates, but as you said, this is not possible with the api. actually i discovered that i can do this with custom fields like ACF.
but there is a fee for creating a custom settings page. Is there a plugin where you can create a custom settings page that saves the data you know to the api?
For example, if I had to give an example. CPT UI offers this for free. however, only custom content type can be created.
