I apologize for the delay in responding to your message. I have been quite busy. I am attaching 3 screenshots showing the settings inside WordPress Dashboard – WooCommerce Settings with Site Visibility turned to “LIVE”

Another screenshot shows the home page showing the “Coming Soon …” screen. The third screenshot shows the site home page while logged into WordPress Dashboard on the same browser, still showing “Your website is in Coming Soon mode – Launch My Site ….

Thank you very much for your quick response and for the guidance on solving this very annoying situation. I will work on it and hopefully, everything works so we can focus on other things. I hope that the developers will simply remove this feature. That’s the easiest thing to do FOR US. Maybe NOT FOR THEM.

The primary rule of User Experience is to keep things simple for the users. And here, the developers have totally FAILED. There are many ways to keep a website away from the public. Those hosting on a Managed Hosting for WordPress have a staging site for that purpose. Also, there are many plugins around to do that and everyone should have the option to use them or not. WooCommerce developers can provide a separate plugin for that same purpose.

Again, thank you for your help.

This issue has been going on for a long time. It means you should REMOVE that Site Visibility functionality. The truth is it is causing way more problems than it is helpful. There is no reason anyone working on a website using WooCommerce has to go through all these hoops to fix this issue. If I turn site to LIVE on the WooCommerce Site Visibility tab, it should work without me having to go through such trouble.

If you guys care about the users, just take it down now. Bring it back only when you know it works as smoothly and simply as adding products into WooCommerce.
