Oh, and one more follow up: “Usually this issue only shows up on dev and staging environments as its disabled by default on live!”
I’ve also had this issue and this is the reply from WPEngine support on it. Hope it helps:
“That error message your seeing is actually a conflict between PHP 7.2 and our debug mode! So it’s throwing the same error for every site so there’s no issue with your site at all! I can get that removed for you if you like with a simple define in the .htaccess? We’re working on a permanent fix for it!”
