I get the same error message. It occurs when connecting the widget to my mailchimp account.
Wait! I figured this out.
The problem is with Google’s new Cloud Console…It creates a very sneaky error.
When I went to the old APIs Console interface, I discovered the URI had been truncated (even though it appeared correct in the new Cloud Console interface AND in the error message).
I fixed the URI and now authentication succeeds.

I read the FAQ before I submitted the question. I should have mentioned that.
I copy and pasted the Redirect URL from the UpdraftPLus page. Likewise, I copy and pasted the Client ID and Secrets, so the problem is not that the URI don’t match, despite what the error message says.
I know other users have had this problem. I’m hoping you can help pinpoint a solution.
