What can we do to better debug what is happening, as this issue only happens with your plugin. I have since switched to another plugin that doesn’t have any issues but same thing conceptually… but I am willing to re-add the plugin and do some testing if you can provide information on how I can properly debug what is going on in the browser.

To further follow up, I went to your website (http://pupunzi.open-lab.com/mb-jquery-components/jquery-mb-miniaudioplayer/) and the demos at the top right do not work, either.

This image will show you I have selected the play button and I have highlighted the play button, which does not respond.

I am using the browser in privacy mode, so no addons are starting up with the browser window.

I am not sure where the disconnect is between IE and Chrome.

I have tried with 2 different machines. I have Windows 7 on one and Windows 8.1 on another.

That is a graphical representation of both Chrome and IE respectively. You can see it does not load the audio file nor the download button in Chrome, but IE is fine.
