You can change the url back to the correct one by accessing the database in use by wordpress.
There are 2 entrys in the wp_options table which refer to the url.
the 2 entrys are 1 and 39
change the incorrect one and everything should be back to normal.

windows vista home premium x86 not that it makes any differance to the problem of course
im not using either, i am an web developer using self installed versions of apache, php, mysql & phpmyadmin
unfortunatly im not able to access the admin pages due to this issue, however i have checked the sql database where i could see 2 entrys and they do appear correct
