    Steve

Thank you very much for your reply, as it happens your prompt led to my issue getting resolved but not in the way you would think.

I had originally been thinking if I could get into my account I could run the backup plugin I had installed and resolve whatever was causing the issue. But obviously, I couldn’t get in.

So I started investigating where to find my error log on my host (as per your instructions) and low and behold there was a backup feature as part of my hosting plan. Talk about not seeing the wood for the trees.

Anyway, I scheduled a backup and woke up this morning to find I was back in action but with a few security errors that needed resolving.

I also suddenly got a message from Godaddy saying my malware had been cleaned. This was odd as I transferred the host from Godaddy to a new one years ago, but I’m not complaining, and explains the original issue I guess.

Needless to say, I shall be familiarising myself with a bit more of the behind-the-scenes knowledge going forward.

Thank you very much for taking the time to reach out and the website and my sanity have been saved.

    Thanks again

    Colin

Brilliant, thank you very much bdbrown. I spent a few minutes being very literal looking for a Save Options button before I spotted the Reset Defaults which worked a treat.

    Thanks again

    Colin
