In reply to: Avatar in comments not aligned to rightThanks to everyone who responded and a great big thank you to Sadish, the designer of MistyLook, for his help and his code.
http://wpthemes.info/misty-look/Adding this to the style.css did the trick and works in both IE and Firefox.

In reply to: Marked as spam.. but not spamThis person is new to computers and new to blogging. The only blog she has commented on is mine and I am positive she has not sent intentional spam messages. So.. why are her comments being shut out. She is actually feeling bad about this.

In reply to: Marked as spam.. but not spamI sent a comment pretending I was her, while I was logged out of my blog, and used her email address and her url.. the comment went through just fine and appeared as it should. So.. maybe this is a big assumption.. but I am assuming the culprit is the IP address.

In reply to: editor adding <p> to html inappropriatelySurly I am not the only one who has the editor adding <p> tags where they do not belong. For some reason .. it is adding them in after <tr> in my table.
Is there some way I can fix this.
I am using the html editor to write my posts. (not the rich editor)
“WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically”—- is unchecked.
Is this a bug in the editor. Very disappointing.
Thanks for any suggestions.

In reply to: Dashboard loading very slowThanks for this suggestion. Could you please be specific about where and what piece of code I should delete.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Dashboard loading very slowI have not made any changes to my blog. I am currently using WordPress 2.0.3 The only plugin I am using is Akismet. Pingomatic is enabled. But if this was the problem.. wouldn’t more bloggers be experiencing this problem. Just now it took 120. 15 sec. for my dashboard to load. Once I am on the dashboard page I can click through the options with out any problem. The only other time I have issues is when I try to save or edit a post. It again takes forever to make the changes.
If you need to know anything .. please just ask. I am not sure what else you may need to know to help me with this problem. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

In reply to: Dashboard loading very slowI do not wish to disable the dashboard. I would just like it to load and also to write posts and edit posts. Currently my dashboard is loading very slowly. It is also very slow to edit or write posts. Any suggestions as to what may be causing the slowness. This is a new issue and very annoying.

I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 software, a lite version of PhotoShop and much cheaper. I love it.
