What we are looking for is a complete sync between BP xprofile fields and other wp user meta fields, bi-directional. Meaning if you modify your user profile in BP it will update WP meta fields, and vice versa.
Actually we work with the profilepress buddypress sync plugin.

But it has several flawns:
1. when you deactivate the plugin you loose ALL your profile data
2. you are bound to use the profilepress plugin
3. it sync only to worpress profile fields and NOT to meta fields
4. to buy he plugin you have to subscribe to the whole bunch of pro plugins (199US$ or 499US$/year…). Not worth it.
hi yes. Would be ready to pay premium for version with custom user fields 😉
