I have upgraded Yoast SEO to Version 9.0.3 , still no change.
I restarted my server just to ensure that are no other issues,however issue persist.

Thanks for your response. May be I can think of following two options
I need to use multisite as subdomain only.
1. Using goingplace.me/home for laravel application and this will serve as home for main page. (is this feasible ?)
OR
2. Customizing base WordPress app @ goingplaces.me to use core php instead of relying on wordpress
I am not webdev or wordpress pro so can you please suggest if you see any performance or security issue in these two options ?
