Thank you for your response, the solution was perfect. I have edited the code HTML via Chrome’s developer tools and it works perfectly, however, I am struggling to find where I would edit this CSS in WordPress or Elementor? Are you able to give any guidence?

Thank you for your suggestions, the first of which has worked perfectly! No Overlay, Yay!
The second line of code does essentially fix the problem, however it makes the nav bar static and stops it following the page when I scroll. I’ve left it in play on the site http://www.abingdonbounce.co.uk so you can see what I mean.
Is there a way of achieving the same effect whilst retaining the “floating” nav bar effect? Its a shame its not possible to add a section above the header image and insert the nav bar in that section.
