In reply to: [Constant Contact Forms] Effective But Got PotentialGood day @redtoucan
Thank you for the review and constructive feedback.
I wanted to chime in a bit regarding some of the feedback. We do try to let the forms inherit as much as we can from a given site’s styles, but know that that doesn’t always happen as much as intended. We do have a side panel with the form builder page where you can choose some background colors as well as font size/colors, though admittedly no font typefaces at this time via UI. I am going to note down that a max width field is desired.
We do have an Elementor widget already, but if you’re not seeing it, we can check if anything is maybe wrong on that front. Should be named “Constant Contact Form”
We also have Beaver Builder integration as well with their modules, but those are the only two at this time.
Once again, thank you for chiming in.
After some private correspondence, it seems that removing and then re-adding the chosen list to the form managed to get things resolved and contacts being added again.

In reply to: [Constant Contact Forms] Potential Constant Contact Forms issues. In your WP admin, and our Constant Contact submenu, you’ll see either a menu item named “Disconnect” or “Connect”. Click into that menu item and follow the instructions on the screen. If it’s saying disconnect, you’ll want to do that and then the page should refresh where you can re-take original steps done to initially connect.
If you’re on the latest version of the plugin, we do what we can to capture signups when API connectivity is an issue, and retry those once connectivity has been restored, most often via human interaction, as the plugin is at a state where it can’t self-refresh the access.
Hi @telegrapher can you reach out to [email protected]? We’d like to take some troubleshooting to private correspondence and we’ll be able to get reintouch with you there.
Please include this link so that we know what forum thread the email is related to https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/debug-log-form-not-working-but-says-your-information-has-been-submitted/
good day @rdshft
Looks like things overall are going well. The only item that stands out and would have triggered the admin notice is the very first line, from the 23rd of last month:
[2025-02-23T03:40:24.275300+00:00] API.INFO: ConstantContact_API::get_lists:335 server_temporarily_unavailable: Internal server error [] []And it was just for a brief moment, and something from our end with the API servers. I believe you should be able to disregard at the moment. However, let us know if anything new shows up.
Just submitted to the form myself, if you see a new item come in named “Constant Contact Forum Support”, that was me.
The bottom part of the logs are showing we’re reconnected again, but nothing for any new errors/issues, at least thus far.
The “Connect” or “Disconnect” submenu items was the page I mentioned earlier. Sorry for not being clear on that part.
If you have email notifications of signups that aren’t presently being found in your actual lists, they could be manually added with the emails being the backup. As mentioned, the current version of the plugin does also try to catch and store signups that get submitted in cases of API issues, and re-submit once the connectivity is re-established. If somehow some were not caught, and you don’t have the admin notification for a new signup, then those would regretfully be gone.
Good day @telegrapher and thank you for your patience.
Looks like you’re going to need to manually disconnect and then reconnect the plugin to the intended account. It’s no longer able to refresh its API credentials on its own.
This process should not lose any existing forms or data, and if you’re on the latest version of the plugin, any attempted signups should have been caught and saved. Those should get re-attempted to send to your lists once the connection is successfully renewed.

In reply to: [Constant Contact Forms] Regular Disconnections, List FailuresAwesome to hear. I do have to wonder if others who have had similar issues would also be because of the same server idling situation. It can also be a question we ask when trying to troubleshoot their threads.
Let us know if you need anything else.

In reply to: [Constant Contact Forms] Regular Disconnections, List FailuresSounds like a plan. My original idea with this, was setting up a job that just does a basic HTTP GET request to the site, to keep it from idling, and let things carry on.
We’re around if anything comes up.
Any news or changes here @infomwppcomau ?

In reply to: [Constant Contact Forms] Regular Disconnections, List FailuresHi @tfunkebilu definitely an interesting situation as there’s a bit of a race situation involved. Also a case where we can’t necessarily adjust the cron processes in the plugin cause they’d still not be getting run due to the idling.
Also not sure if idling is considered a good or bad thing for you in the slower times. For example I know there are services like https://cron-job.org/en/ that you could set up an external cron job that perhaps makes an HTTP request to the site and prevent the idling.
Just throwing some ideas out there as we ponder possible other ideas.
hmm good to know but also a good question of if this could somehow be avoided. We’ll need to explore.
That said, sounds like you’re in a good spot at the moment. Let us know if you need anything else.
Looks like you’ll want to click the “Disconnect” submenu link from our plugins admin menu and follow the instructions to perform a disconnect for the previous API connection, and then re-take the original steps done when initially connecting. This should refresh everything and also re-send the caught signup attempt mentioned at the start of the messaging.
Hi @lauranvaca
Hmm. Definitely appears to be related t our upgrade of our copy of a library named CMB2, but the question is why. Nothing from the changes between our previous shipped version, and the latest had anything to do with color pickers, which is what this error is leaning towards.
Also not presently able to recreate the issue myself.
By any chance do you have a page builder or similar that also has rendered color pickers on the page?
