In reply to: Installing TinyMCEOk, just figured this out and feel kind of dumb. In case anyone having the same problem finds my question, the answer is yes, the default visual editor is TinyMCE although that’s not immediately explicit within WordPress. Adding the advanced plugin for TinyMCE gives you everything you need, but you have to enable the table features and anything else you want added by dragging and dropping them from the TinyMCE Advanced settings under “Settings” (imagine that). If it seems complicated you’re doing it wrong.
