In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] Partial minute penalties?I thought I would follow up on this thread and provide an official answer I received from SportsPress (Pro Support). Sportspress does not support time values. So, you have to use 1.5 for 1:30. On the data entry screen (event box score), it does not show the decimals in the total, but it does save the decimal value, and does calculate correctly. (i.e. 1.5 + 1.5 + 1.5 = 4.5).
This at least captures the data, but it is not intuitive or match any sport I’m aware of.
I’ll mark this thread as resolved because I received an answer, but the feature itself is not working as it should.

corijI am interested in a solution for this exact problem as well. I’ve submitted it as a request on the themeboy idea board (https://sportspress.uservoice.com/forums/285525-ideaboard) to make that a configurable message, but I’d be happy with a suggested CSS or JS fix as well.

corij@sagund07 – thanks for posting this. I used this (along with some other css coding, from another thread) to make the box score section manageable for data entry.

I would still suggest that you add a CSS override option in the SportsPress backend, so we can put in custom CSS that is loaded after your admin.css. (or add some options/fixes to make the box score managable for data entry on smaller resolution screens)

I have stats set to “Offense -> Defense”. Is that correct?

In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] Partial minute penalties?Yes, I can put in 1:30, and I do. However, it does not total up correctly. Example on this page where Thunder Ducks have penalty minutes for multiple players, which should total 6:00, but it just shows “5”, which makes me think it just takes the integer value of the text field to add up, not accounting for time values (i.e. 1:30 + 1:30 should equa 3:00).

One thought on this (since I’ve had a similar issue). The update of event results from the event list only works if your last column for event results is the Total (T) or if you’ve correctly selected it as the “primary” column.The place to configure this is SportsPress -> Configure -> Event Results (used for events)
Make sure that T (for total) is selected as the Primary (radio button on the left of the list items), or that T is the last row. (The default is to use the last row).
Not sure if that’s your issue, but that helped me.

corijI’m just following up to see if you have any advice on this, or if you plan to change the Rookie theme to use the more specific CSS style so other parts of the background style can be overridden (or allow us to add custom CSS inside the rookie theme that gets loaded last?

I wanted to follow up on this to see if there are any ideas on this type of stat timeline for events. From what I can tell, this is not possible in the free version or the paid version (I just purchased the paid version and don’t see anything different relating to Match Stats).Just thought I’d double check to see if I am missing anything?

I have an Event Blocks widget on the main page that shows upcoming games. It correctly shows there is one more game today – May 16th 10:30pm (although it is 10:50pm right now, so maybe it’s off another direction?). But if I go to the page where I use the Event List shortcode and show today’s games, it actually shows the three games for tomorrow (May 17th) even though today is still the 16th.

As for the offense/defense issue – I am on the latest version (2.0.6), as far as I know (no update notice), but it is still not showing GP for defense.
When I look at SportsPress configuration in the Player Performance list, it shows GP as being for “All”. If I set that stat to be for Defense, it correctly shows up for defense (and only defense). When I set to Offense, it correctly shows for offense. But when I set it to All, it only shows up for Offense.
