For the time being, I have changed the code of each carousel, editing the alignment from “full” to “center”. It is not an elegant fix – each image now has a boxed outline and is set upon a grey background.
@nko it’s worth mentioning that I think the plugin is really nice, it enables a very minimal website experience. What I would love however is a way to constrain the height & width of each image and resize without cropping it
I’m still going. I have noticed that sometimes when changing the settings of one carousel, it changes other carousels simultaneously.
Whilst playing around with the settings, changing a carousel from fade to slide (doing this changes the size of the image too) – upon previewing the change, all other carousels set to slide before the change had increased in size, cropping out much of the image.
After some more investigation:
I began recreating all of the carousels at the bottom of the page, when previewed on the website they appeared centered (although the sizings are different – the images seem to crop top and bottom). However after I moved the sliding carousels down to the bottom of the age over the new fading carousels, the same problem occurred and in preview mode all images were justified to the left. I undid the moves by clicking “undo” and the images were centered again.
Not really sure where to go from here. It’s pretty difficult to work with because when editing and moving images up and down the carousels disappear entirely until I refresh the page.
Hey there, thanks for your reply.
It doesn’t seem to matter if I change the transition style to slide or fade, the images still remain off-center. I’m not sure why the new carousels at the bottom of the page work as intended – if I create a new carousel at the top of the page it exhibits the same problem.
