OK, I thought just moving a block (map) would be a basic procedure, which is not unique to a particular theme?
Sounds like I need to search for tutorials on using “default block editor” in WP 5.4? That was part of the problem, I don’t even know what I should be searching for!

The header height did not seem to change using “display: none”
Why did I find so many different code suggestions for doing that and none of them worked? Are they all unique to specific themes or something?
