Would you recommend clearing the cache after the change? Is that something that is just good practice when making these changes? Thanks for your help.

I had cleared the cache prior to writing the post but I did it again, along with the browser cache and cookies. A few things happened that I don’t quite understand but I did end up getting it fixed.
In the future, if I want to amend the redirected links, what is the best process? There is a “disable” and a “delete” option on each redirect. What is the difference and when do I use each option?
