  • YA, Depends on what you want it for. Drupal is more versatile and you can expand into a forum or host your own image galleries etc, without having to touch code. But it can be a beast if you want a simple blog or website that can be updated.

    WP, with plugins, themes and some template work can probably cover 90% of the web page functionality online today I would say. But if you want to expand into forums and more complex functionality it becomes a bit icky code wise.

    I’ve had a look over the problem and attempted to modify WP have one install for many blogs as I have 6-7 going at the moment and the constant security updated are a pain with many many blogs to maintain. I wrote up the results of my work here:

    Seems FCK editor has released a ‘production’ version of its 2.0 editor. Looks very stable. It would be very nice to integrate this into WordPress. My father and his friend are not very computer savvy and the whole ‘upload’ interface is a little bewildering to say the least. Trying it link from thumbnails to full size images is way beyond them. FCK editor has such a nice interface for all that…
