vtxyzzy, Greetings! I hope your generous offer still stands about assisting. I just emailed you using the Contact Me Form above. I am only asking what I just couldn’t figure out or find an answer in the WP guides.

    Thanks, Randy

vtxyzzy, My apologies for not replying sooner. Thank you for answer to the custom header question.

Thanks for the WordPress for Dummies suggestion. The one I have may not be the one you are thinking of.

I have plenty of WP guides and materials, been reading and rereading them, and realizing that it will take me a long time, hours to figure it all out and set up a site. So like how we learn most things in life, it is best to have someone who knows WP provide a jump start and just assist with getting an initial, basic, bare essentials site going—few pages and a blog. I have the latest WP installed with the Twenty Ten Theme, hosting, domain name and a header from the Theme I can use for now. Consequently, I am looking for someone who can assist with WP site set up, and appreciate anyone you could suggest.

    Thanks, Randy

Since the last post the questions we are having, I now have a question about whether you build a wordpress site from the wordpress admin panel or a site builder like site builder. Sitebuilder was recommended by our hosting sevice, Hostgator. Because of the questions or difficulties we are having, I am wondering if we should be using the WordPress admin panel instead.
