When you move your site to a new domain, you need to update the URL option for the website.
Please go to the GSpeech Online Dashboard:
https://gspeech.io/dashboardOpen your site and under the Settings section update the URL value to the new production domain.
Then, to apply the changes to cached sessions as well, go to:
WordPress Admin → GSpeech → Cloud Console → Settings and click Save.This will refresh the cache index and apply the new domain to all sessions.
After that, newly generated audios will appear with the new URL in the Audios section. The old audios will remain there as archived entries.

You’re absolutely right regarding design customization. The current version has limited styling options, and this is something we’ve been actively working on.
We’re releasing a major update around January 15 that will include an advanced audio player template customization wizard, allowing full control over colors and appearance.

You can achieve this by creating separate audio widgets and assigning a different custom voice to each one.Here’s how to set it up:
- Go to wp-admin → GSpeech → Cloud Console → Widgets
- Click Add New
- Set “Use Custom Voice” to Yes, and choose the voice you want
- Under the Content tab, use “Allowed URLs” to specify the pages or author URLs where this widget/player should be applied
– This way each author’s posts can have their own voice (male/female, etc.)

1. Audio is generated only when a reader clicks the Play button.
The first click triggers text-to-speech generation and counts the characters for that post.
Once the audio file is created, it can be played unlimited times without using any additional characters.2. The number of readers does NOT affect character usage
Character usage is based only on how many articles are converted into audio, not how many times the audio is played.3. What happens when the monthly quota is reached?
- Already generated audio files continue to work normally.
- New posts that have not been converted yet will show a message saying that the character quota has been exceeded.
- Next month, the quota resets automatically, and new audio can be generated again.

Under the general settings update the Url of website to live value.
