In reply to: [Atahualpa] Error with theme – site brokenThis theme hasn’t been updated in years, so I doubt you are going to get anyone to fix it. You really need to switch to a different theme because you’re not going to get an updated version. I switched to Iconic One. It seems to have a very similar appearance and functionality to Atahualpa.

In reply to: [Montezuma] Similar theme alternatives to MontezumaI switched over to a theme called Iconic One.

In reply to: [Montezuma] Fixes for PHP 8+Wow, that’s amazing! Can I ask how did you get Chat GPT & Copilot to fix the code? Did you have to upload every single module along with the error messages? Or just the module that the error message named, along with the error message?

In reply to: Cannot access admin anymore after WordPress update to 6.3I had the exact same error with W3 Total Cache. I used an FTP client to rename the w3-total-cache folder to w3-total-cache-disabled, updated the database, and got the same error message about the Advanced cache. So I then renamed w3-total-cache-disabled back to its original name and I’m back working OK again.

In reply to: [Vertical marquee plugin] Is this plugin abandoned?Ours is still working. Has it ever worked for you? How are you entering the short code? Are you using vertical-marguee (note that it’s a “g” and not a “q” in the word marguee)
Great, thank you, just opened a ticket. Thanks.
Don’t know if this makes a difference, but I also would like to see full posts. Otherwise, this plugin would be perfect for what I need.
@woodenski did you find an alternate plugin? It looks like the example page that you posted is showing full posts instead of excerpts. I’ve been using xili Post-in-Post but it hasn’t been updated in a couple of years.

In reply to: Header Image zooms inUnfortunately, most themes won’t use the entire image in the header but will crop it based on the dimensions the developer feels looks the best. Here is the image that is being used for the header. As you can see, it’s dimensions are 1950×500 pixels, so you can try editing your original image to fit in that ratio.

In reply to: [Montezuma] Great Default Layout! Easy to update.Yes, Montezuma was the theme that I used on all of my web sites, it was great as far as being able to customize. Unfortunately, when the developer decided not to support future releases, I had to go switch to a more “traditional” theme. I miss it a lot.

In reply to: Parent Category Bold Help! Are you adjusting the look of your site? It seems to change every once in a while when I go back. Right now, I don’t see that Online Catalog sidebar.
Forum: Developing with WordPress
In reply to: Parent Category Bold Help!Where exactly do you want to see the bold text? For example, at the top of this page, I see a breadcrumbs bar at the top (Home / CAMPING AND OUTDOORS / COOKING AND COOKING ACCESSORIES) and on the right sidebar, there’s a section labeled ONLINE CATALOG.
The latest upgrade to Wordfence 7.4.8 fixed my 500 error. Thanks very much!
This is what I see at the end of the log:
[20-May-2020 04:13:17 UTC] PHP Deprecated: contextual_help is deprecated since version 3.3.0! Use get_current_screen()->add_help_tab(), get_current_screen()->remove_help_tab() instead. in /home/b8arriyf48y8/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5088
[20-May-2020 04:13:56 UTC] retrieving redirect rulesSo even after I set the theme to Twenty Twenty and deactivate all plugins, and then activate just Wordfence, the site goes to 500.

This was the diagnostic that was just emailed from my site through WordPress’ error detection:
When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information: WordPress version 5.4.1 Current theme: Iconic One Child (version 1.0.0) Current plugin: (version ) PHP version 7.2.27 Error Details ============= An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 76 of the file /home/b8arriyf48y8/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/wordfence.php. Error message: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/b8arriyf48y8/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wordfenceConstants.php' (include_path='.:/opt/alt/php72/usr/share/pear')I’m having the same problem, popped up all of a sudden this afternoon. Got a 500 error, tried manually disabling all plugins, and Wordfence seemed to be the culprit. Got the 500 error again right after activating Wordfence with no other plugins activated. What’s strange is that it seems to have affected two out of the four sites where I have Wordfence installed.
