In reply to: disable slider in the EDITOR screenAgree with others this is an awful update – we have a bunch of boxes under the edit screen and the split makes pages unnecessarily fiddly to work with.
I found the solution as recommended by @threadi (thank you!!) works great; just a simple copy-and-paste to the functions.php of my child theme:

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] WordPress critical error after upgrade to v5.3.4.1Hi @lucianwpwhite,
The patch worked – the plugin is now active again and the site didn’t die! 🙂
Thanks for the speedy fix,
Crowley
I can confirm that the update to Advanced Ads 1.47.4 has fixed the critical error arising from the WP6.4 update to my website.
Also thanks to @henningaa for the speedy response!
Just as an update in case it is of use:
I had the same critical error on my staging site with the update from WP 6.3.2 to 6.4 (PHP 8.2)
Rolling back to AdvancedAds v1.46.0 did not solve the problem, but rolling back to 1.45.1 did.
Cheers,
Crowley
Hi @gdalex,
Thanks for the update – I have already updated the plugin and resolved (just forgot to post here!)
Cheers,
Crowley

In reply to: Pasting in post loses formattingNo worries – I reverted to Twenty Twenty-Three as per George’s post above then went through the plugins one by one. It’s definitely an issue with the 6.3 upgrade.
Seems we’re not alone; there’s a few others having the same problem!

In reply to: Pasting in post loses formattingHi Adam (and others who may have found this thread)
I had exactly the same problem, and have just traced it to the CoBlocks plugin.
Cheers,
Crowley
Hi Adam @adamdunnage,
Thanks for the super-speedy reply and apologies for my delay in responding.
Upon further investigation, it seems that there may have been an issue with Google Tag Manager and the GA4 migration. We have now resolved the problem.
Many thanks for taking the time to respond,

In reply to: [GetResponse for WordPress] Problem with latest version 5.5.28correction to the above: at first it appeared to be the case that it only happened when I was logged in as admin, but after clearing all caches it happens everywhere.
I have raised a ticket and rolled back while I wait for a solution.

In reply to: [GetResponse for WordPress] Problem with latest version 5.5.28Was there a solution to this? I have had the same problem – I am using a form in a sidebar widget which appears as HTML – but ONLY when I am logged into the site as an admin.
The public don’t see it and if I log out it works fine, so it’s a small issue but if there’s a fix I would be grateful as other site admins might worry.
Cheers,
C.
@tabasko you can go to the advanced section of the WP download page:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/getresponse-integration/advanced/
Go to the bottom of the page and you can select an older version (I was using 5.5.19) to download and then reinstall manually from the WP plugin page.
Also – if you deactivate the plugin temporarily the error will disappear.
Hope that helps.

I have raised a ticket with GetResponse
