In reply to: [AMP] AMP: long way home

    Hello Weston,

I’m having the same error: “URL validation failed to due to the absence of the expected JSON-containing AMP_VALIDATION comment after the body.” I’m hoping we can figure out the source of the issues. Ocupado’s solution did not work for me.

1.- If i select CLASSIC MODE, shows this message:” Classic mode activated! View the AMP version of a recent post. It is recommended that you upgrade to Native or Paired mode.”

    AMP URL: https://www.staging3.jrcinco.com/test-layout-for-new-blog/?amp
    — Only applied to POSTS not all pages, posts and projects.

2.- When I select PAIRED MODE with “Automatically accept sanitization for any newly encountered AMP validation errors.” checked. The message is as follow: “Paired mode activated! However, there was an error when checking the AMP validity for your site. Not Found”
    AMP URL: https://www.staging3.jrcinco.com/?amp

The URL is stripped of all media rich content. When I hit Re-validate button (200 validation errors) it loops back to a empty error index, the original error message: “URL validation failed to due to the absence of the expected JSON-containing AMP_VALIDATION comment after the body.”

*There are no errors in the debug log, or browser console.

3.- When i select NATIVE MODE the message is the following:“Native mode activated! However, there was an error when checking the AMP validity for your site. Internal Server Error” —- same as Paired.

Using Flash theme (free version) / Memory limit has been increased / All optimization plugins are disable to avoid cache issue. / Confirmed Iconv is installed / using Chrome Browser.

Not sure where I’m going wrong in the implementation process but I’d greatly appreciate some direction.

    Thank you in advance!!

    Christina

It appears the changes show in ‘live preview mode’ but disappear otherwise?
