… it doesn’t occurIf I choose “Full Screen” it shows me the Homescreen Icon with a white background color as the Icon background color is transparent.

I followed your instructions, but I didn’t solve the problem. It does not only occur with the testsite (https://test.cuteberry.de), but also with the mainpage (https://cuteberry.de). Somehow I was curious, so I deleted the PWA of the SuperPWA from my Homescreen and I created / downloaded the PWA of SuperPWA again. The same problem occurred. There too, it shows me the splash screen on the homescreen of my smartphone. Maybe it’s a problem of my smartphone’s current software. I have a Huawei P20. The operating system is up-to-date. As a temporary solution I will change the splash screen in a way, that it will also look nice as a homescreen icon.

unfortunately it’s not solved yet. As you can see in the third picture, I still see the splashscreen picture on my smartphone homescreen instead of the icon.

I updated the plugin and followed the instructions, but there are still some little problems.
I uploaded three screenshot pictures for you to help you with debugging.
1) Link Picture 1 As you can see in the first screenshot picture, it shows the icon now instead of the splash screen – that is amazing. The background of the icon is transparent and the backgroundcolor here seems to be black. If it’s not a big thing, it would be nice, if this could be changed – if it’s too time consuming, just leave it.2) Link Picture 2 The same applies for this picture. It’s the next step in the process of adding the PWA to the homescreen.
3) Link Picture 3 As you can see in this picture, in the second row (top) you can see the Cuteberry Test App (https://test.cuteberry.de) with a splashscreen icon. Don’t get confused: the Cuteberry App Icon on the bottom is the original PWA (https://cuteberry.de)

I resized the Application Icon, but the problem persists. I also uploaded the Splash Screen Icon again.
Any idea, what I can do to solve the problem?

Hi Jose,
many appologies for the delay. I am so sorry. I was caught up in some urgent and highly demanding work. Yes, you are right, I accidently uploaded the Application Icon in 800 px x 800 px. I will resize it and test it over the weekend.
The splash screen image should be within my server. At least I uploaded it there. However I have Jetpack plugin activated with image CDN (https://jetpack.com/features/design/content-delivery-network/). So probably it’s no longer delivered from my own server… However at my end, I don’t have a problem with the splash screen. There is no error with it. Is it different on your end?
Off topic, many thanks for your amazing plugin. I really love it.
