Crazy day!updated WordPress – updated PHP to 8,1, updated theme.
And it’s working now!

I switched off the plugins and changed the theme to a standard WordPress theme and the site came up.
Now I am updating WordPress.
Then I will try and switch back to my original theme and hope the updates work.
Otherwise I know it must be the theme causing the trouble.Am trying with 7,4
I have changed the database name in the wp-config.php and set the PHP to 7,1 now the page comes up blank
Now I have another issue: – I changed the database password and now there isn’t a connection.
Can you help with this – I’m going a little nuts here.
I’m having to read from php files and this is what I see:
$wp_version = ‘5.1.21’;
I remember as I was in the dashboard that it stated I should update to 6,9

Thanks for the input! Anne has an iPhone 13, She wrote from Frankfurt, that she tested on hers and it was working. I guess this means that it was a plugin error. When she gets back from vacation I will recommend the WordPress app – which you mention. And then I can start turning on the plugins one at a time and see which one is the trouble-maker 🙂

In reply to: Page doesn’t show content on mobile phoneThank you for your suggestions. I have turned off all the plugins except the one necessary for running the Nirvana theme. I have checked on an iPhone 11 and my Android and they both work fine – no problem editing. My Android runs on Chrome and the iPhone 11 runs Safari – so it’s not a browser issue. Now I have to find out what iPhone Anne is using – to see if that might be an issue. She just went on vacation – so I might have to wait for that information. In the meanwhile I thank you so much for your efforts!

In reply to: Page doesn’t show content on mobile phoneIt is all the regular pages. On a computer it works fine. I have no trouble – only when Anne uses her phone. I disabled the Visual Composer plugin (which neither of us uses), but that didn’t help. I’m sending ascreenshot link. Thank you for your help!
