In reply to: Install: I get to the Blog entry page but can’t login as adminThanks! I seem to have gotten past the login. I don’t really know how. It errored out and when I went back to the login page, It cane to the Dashboard. I now have a problem when I try to add a user or delete an entry. I get the message:
Sorry, you need to enable sending referrers, for this feature to work.I guess I need to search on this topic now.

still the sanme result. I did see in the code that all links (that I have found) were poimting to the actual path of the install directory.I will go through those you listed.

I have followed several links and still haven’t acheived success. As you know each situation can be a bit different and even the description of the problem can be worded t differently, so it is difficult to know if one is persuing the correct course.
If there is a correct course and a procedure for installing on a win server, either outlined in a help file, or from someone with experience, I am looking forward to getting the instructions.Thanks again

I have installed phpAdmin. Have followed recommedations of the following link.
http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/phpmyadmin/I have tried removing teh database from my server and recreating it. Tried manually adding / changing the values in the user table.
Still get to the page:
http://www.thatsphotography.com/Blog/
OK.
Go to login comes to the page: http://www.thatsphotography.com/Blog/wp-login.phpenter my admin and the auto generated PW and get:
http://www.thatsphotography.com/Blog/wp-login.php?redirect_to=%2FBlog%2Fwp-admin%2Findex.php
***********************************************Could this be because I have WordPress in a sub folder and not as the primary Index fils on the site. I see that when the login tries to run it is waiting for: http://www.thatsphotography.com
There is no reference in the line to http://www.thatsphotography.com/Blog/Thanks
