In reply to: How do I change color of Post Title?Try clearing your cache before you reload the page. I have had a situation when I changed my header graphic and it would not show up on the page until I cleared my cache.

In reply to: Forums in next release of wp?I think I know what he’s getting at. For my website, I would also like to have the ability for persons to leave questions and get responses to it, while still maintaining the look and feel of the blog.
Or maybe we should be asking if there is anyway of getting this forum integrated into WP.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: wp javascript scroller in progressVery nice.
Is it possible to have it scrolling vertical, so that you could just have the titles going across, and then pointing on it, causes the list to stop, and then you can click and get the story?
Also, I think the ability to make it go faster or slower should be an optional feature that the owner of the site can make visible or not.
Can’t wait to try it out.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Changing default catergoryWhy remove the default tick category, and then have to go and write additional code to do a check if they have selected a category?
I’m sure you have thought this through, but based on what you’re asking it sounds like you’re just asking for more work.Forum: Your WordPress
In reply to: Kirrin’s CornerThanks Ben, worked well. Won’t make anymore changes just yet as I still have to be mindful of IE for now.

In reply to: WordPress on TechTV!Exactly, it is now a Game channel instead of a Computer Technology channel as it started out as C|Net.com (if you can remember those days), then it became TechTV (I believe) and all that was cool, until they have changed the entire format of the thing and I’ve just lost interest.
Haven’t watched it in MONTHS. It’s just not worth it, all they do is talk about GAMES!! Like that’s all there is to technology and that’s all we do.
And they go on as if it is thee thing with computers. YIKES!!
Bring back the old format!!!Forum: Your WordPress
In reply to: Kirrin’s CornerYeah, I’m aware of that. The top two posts are actually “sticky” posts and they also have a graphic beside, them that works and looks great in IE, but not in FF.
That also accounts for the other elements being a bit off.
Anyone know of a stylesheet fix for FF or is it just because it’s in 1.0 and need to catchup?Forum: Your WordPress

In reply to: E-mail a friend plugin?Hello all,
Well, my implemetation works. Works in the sense that it says that the article has been sent, but when I look in the queue, it’s sitting there. I’m using Microsoft Virtual SMTP Server (yeah I know, I know). When I check the Event Viewer and look the error message there, it says:
Message delivery to the host ‘000.000.000.000’ failed while delivering to remote yhada yhada
It goes on to say that
The SMTP verb ‘AUTH’ caused the problem
Any idea how I can fix this?
In the class-phpmailer.php file, I set SMTPAuth to false.Forum: Requests and Feedback
