    UPDATE: FYI, according to Bluehost, we have viruses/malware on our website at this time. We are working to resolve these issues, and will be back in touch as or if needed regarding the Give WP app – hopefully all issues will be resolved once the primary problem is fixed. We look forward to having Give WP operational once again, with the ability to receive donations reactivated. Thank you for your help.

    Hello,

    Still having problems:

    1.) I deleted the version 4 from the live site, downloaded, uploaded and tried to activate version 3.22.2 as directed. I am still unable to activate Give WP even version 3.22.2 on the live site. Donations still can’t be made on our site. However, Give – Stripe Gateway is activated on the site.

    2.) I tried all the suggestions you had for a staging site – deactivating and reactivating all plugins – on our live site before contacting you initially. I did this because our site crashed this week, maybe after the Give WP update, but I could be wrong. I had to contact Bluehost just to get the site back up and working. I tried deactivating all plugins and reactivating one by one, both on Bluehost and in WordPress Plugins directly. But I can’t activate either version 4 of Give WP or the version 3.22.2 which I currently have.

    3.) I thought maybe it was a problem that I needed to login to the Give WP account. I tried to login with the information I was given by the treasurer, but it didn’t work and I was blocked from the Give WP website.

    4.) I have an error log file I downloaded from Bluehost. It basically says this with *** inserted instead of the organization’s identifying name:
    PHP Warning: file_put_contents(/home4/***/public_html/wp-content/install.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home4/***/public_html/wp-content/2ad9e0a on line 1

    Could I DM the error log file to you, instead of posting it publicly here, to protect the organization’s privacy? If so, please let me know how/where to send you the file. Thanks!
