Gesses! Something really very strange happened on my blog yesterday. Within, an hour, or so after having published my review of Otter Blocks, all references, links and calls to try Otter Blocks Pro and other uninteresting messages, which were on almost every page of my back-end, and a link to Otter Blocks library, which was stuck in the editor, suddenly disappeared as being hit by magic lightning.

This made me wonder if best practice in the US, in this context, is to basically harass citizens who use add-ons. The procedure equals having a revolving door at home, open for any riff-raff, to come and go as they please. Good God I live in the EU, which protects and respects our privacy, and severely punishes invasive privacy abusers, with heavy fines.

Sorry Robert, while I am pleased to be left alone, my negative attitude towards Otter Blocks remains and my decision, to deactivate the extension in due course, stands. Apparently, there is a strong need to limit Dev’s discretion before our, i.e. the users’ sites are reduced to test environments and we to test pilots for add-ons, which by their extensive limitations, rather hinders, than increases creativity.

I see your dilemma man, and would gladly contribute with donations, for you to be able to keep up your good work, but my pension does not allow me. Even in Sweden, pensions does not last a whole month, nowadays. However, I may be able to help you with translation of the documentation into Swedish, just contact me when it is online. CU
