No other backup plugins installed, since backwpup always did the trick for me.
Worked the days before and I didn’t change anything.
Problem did not occur on any other sites.

Well, kinda emberassing, but it’ been the pagination of the plugins page. The problems with auto-tweet seemed to make me kinda blind.
