That worked wonderfully, thank you!
I have the PRO version however, when someone leaves a review it comes through as a comment BUT it automatically posts it on my website.
In the settings I have done this: ‘settings > discussion > and ticked, Comment must be manually approved’ BUT reviews are still automatically posting without my approval.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
I have tried that + it doesn’t seem to have worked.
I have tried flushing the cache and clearing my browser history. Any other suggestions? Thank you!
I am having this exact same problem.

Click the green ‘create your own review’ button and you can see, the review stars are invisible until you hover over them.
