For a best understanding about your demand and solution…
Your intention is to add a product item per each order and this go to checkout?
OR
If in the cart there is a recharchable product (abandoned or not), user can add 1 (and only one) product item and only this product item go to checkout? over-written the recharchabel product.
Can you clear me?

Pls, see some way to created a “virtual” cart (or a second layer of cart) specific for credits, if possible.
In our case, as we are only working with credits in costumer orders, if credits and products are together in same cart… and both will be to checkout page to pay with paypal our business model will no working, too.
We implement buttons with specific values in Woowallet, and are using a Restrict plugin to don´t accept values in paypal system, if the amount are different that buttons values. Forcing the system and users to work with credits.
If the credits are no sufficient to pay the orders products, in checkout, we have a flow to no show paypal system and yes a buttons to buy credits (forwarding user to my wallet to buy credits). And then, in this moment the product list is deleting.Pls, see my considerations above to implement some modifications.

Products added in the cart are still in the cart.Then we have a order finished, no debit credit payment, and products still in the cart

User have credits (I inputted manually to do a test).
After purchase process in checkout area, the order is completed but the credit status don´t change.

Have a huge difference to press a button and write a number…
Offering buttons..the user quickly convert in to payment…and when you open possibilites to type a value…they will see/think what value is necessary…losing time. Believe me.
I am wrote the “same” demand…when you coment prepaid carts ..in these case buttons with specific value, and not your business model.
