Hello,
Just discovered what happened! When 5.5 installed, for some reason, all the “User Capabilities” for Admin were unchecked.Once I checked all the functions for Admin … the Event Capabilities, Recurrent Event Capabilites … I see all the menu items reappear again!

I have been using the admin login which usually has all privileges. This seemed to only happen after the newest update.
Just as a check, I went through and de-activated plugins, one-by-one, but still same problem.
I also tried deleting and re-installing but still same problem. I am seeing the client tomorrow morning so is there any possibility to know what can be done to have back the menu items?

I tried to deactivate and re-activate but still gave same problem. 🙁As you can see, when click on events, there are only 2 options showing … “Settings” and “Help”. None of the other options are displaying, so unable to add events and recurring events, or editing/managing events that are already posted.
The pages however are still displaying previously created events.

There doesn’t seem to be any javascript or php error displaying (can you please let me know how I would find these error messages? … not a technical person).
